While Google recently launched its Pixel 8 priced at $699 and Pixel 8 Pro at $999,
there are already hints of a more affordable option in the works.
OnLeaks and Smartprix have collaborated once again
to provide unofficial renders of what appears to be a Pixel 8A, boasting a roughly 6.1-inch display.
Much like the Pixel 8, this model features a design with two rear cameras and a hole-punch selfie camera,
maintaining the curvy aesthetics seen in the other new Pixel models.
Last month, many journalists expressed some skepticism regarding the images and the new rounded design.
However, these newly leaked photos closely resemble the renders, confirming Google's decision to adopt a curvier design for its Pixel 8 and 8 Pro handsets.
It's commendable that Google is committed to giving its more budget-friendly phone a premium appearance.
The company indicated to Der Standard (via Android Central) that it currently has no plans to enter the budget phone market.
